At 1:46 pm of August 7th, 2018, a sea vessel loaded with 25,000 tons of corn arrived at the port. This is the cargo that our company carries for a famous food group, will be sub-loaded in Nantong port by river ships, and transported to Changsha, Zhuzhou, Yiyang, Changde and other places. The ship had just berthed, and our river transportation site colleagues immediately boarded the ship to inspect the warehouse to check whether the goods were clean and free of impurities. The port operators, truck drivers, and weighing personnel were also on duty to prepare for unloading.

At the same time, the five second-haul river ships dispatched by the shipping department have arrived at the port on standby as scheduled, and they have also been inspected by our colleagues from the river transportation site department to ensure that the warehouse is clean and free of debris, free of ballast water. Everything was ready, and the unloading of the goods officially started at 2:00 pm that day.

With the good cooperation of our colleagues, port personnel, foreign ship captains, and river captains, the unloading work is carried out in an orderly and efficient manner.
At 5:29 pm, after 3.5 hours of efficient and smooth unloading work, the first river ship completed the loading task, and river transportation on-site colleagues completed the inspection, close warehouse and seal, and completed the handover procedures with the port.
