At 10:30am of September 7th, a 46-section train full of iron ore departed from Changsha North to the destination Loudi. Since then, under the leadership of Guangzhou Railway Group, the iron ore train by the method of ‘road to railway’ cooperated with Changsha Power Plant and UP Trans has successfully started.

The 2018 National Environmental Protection Work Conference proposed to promote the transition of bulk logistics from road transportation to railway transportation (ie, ‘road to railway’), and to achieve breakthrough new progress in winning the battle to defend the blue sky. The Guangzhou Railway Group and UP Trans cooperated to make full use of the idle special railway lines of Changsha Power Plant to ship bulk cargo, save resources, and cater to the country's policy of increasing the proportion of railway transportation and controlling the proportion of road transportation, which is economical and environmentally friendly. It has opened up new ports for cooperation with railways, expanded the space for cooperation with railways, and further enriched the company's transportation mode, laying a solid foundation for the next step to increase the delivery of large bulk cargoes such as ore and coal by railways.
