The new ship project is a key construction project of UP Trans currently underway. Since the construction was officially started on November 28th, 2018, the construction of the project has been methodically processed and the scene is busy. After a month of construction, the cargo hold at the bottom of the ship has slowly taken shape.
The new bilge is gradually taking shape
‘At present, the construction of the hull and cargo hold is about to be completed, it is expected to complete 30% of the progress of the entire hull project’. The person in charge of UP Trans Supervision said, in addition to the upcoming construction of the hull and cargo hold, the side cabins and engine room materials are still in producing. It is currently in severe winter and freezing weather, which will have a certain impact on the construction.
The shipbuilding project is progressing steadily. The construction of the new ship will strive to overcome the adverse effects of bad weather, carry out the project operation efficiently, and strive to complete the hull construction within the expected construction period. As far as know, that in addition to the 5,000-ton new ship project under construction, UP Trans plans to build another 5,000-ton ship to further expand our group’s transportation capabilities. The other ship contract will be signed in December 2018, the procurement of steel materials has been completed and construction has begun.
