It’s early summer, the temperature is gradually rising, and the construction site of the new ship of UP Trans is also in full swing. The two new ships under construction have a new look. The project is proceeding tensely and orderly. Shipbuilding supervisors strictly control the quality of construction.

The first new ship is undergoing the final interior and exterior decoration stages. The work currently in progress includes welding of the outer and roof panels of the bow, installation of the engine room, and interior decoration of the bridge and cabin. As of May 9^th, the outline of the first new ship has basically taken shape and has now entered the final stage of completion. It is expected that the new ship will be launched for trial sailing around the 22^nd.

At the same time, the second new ship is undergoing welding work on the bow and cargo hold. Although the construction of the second new ship started in early March of this year, the construction efficiency has been greatly improved because it uses the same ship-type construction structure as the first ship. 70% of the construction progress has been completed and is expected to be completed next month.

As time goes by, the addition of new ship construction is in full swing, develop from nothing, and the outline is fully revealed. The addition of the two new ships will increase the carrying capacity of the UP Trans’ vessels by about ten thousands of tons and will further increase the scale of the UP Trans’ transportation team.
